POLICIES

To book and reserve your time slot I do require full payment. I have done deposits in the past; however, hunting down photoshoot balances months after the convention has driven me to this point.

To this day, I still have payments unfulfilled, so I cannot back down on this. Payments are to be made through Stripe.

The rates for your photoshoot do not include print licenses. If I fail to show up to the session due to unforeseen circumstances I will fully refund your payment.

I fully research your character(s) prior to the session. I also create a mood board based around your shoot. So by the time of the session, I already have an idea and a goal for your photos, and this allows me to work faster.

However, if you're running late to the shoot you will lose that time. I try to be flexible, I understand the crowds and crazy elevators, but please do your best to be on time.

Communication is key. If you know there's going to be a scheduling conflict at least a day in advance, I will do my best to move your shoot. However, it is not guaranteed.

The photoshoot is cancelled if you are 15 minutes late.

Additional editing done by anyone besides myself, (FXDandy) is prohibited. Beauty edits are allowed. However, if you're wanting additional editing please contact me first for additional information.

Session Photos does NOT include printing rights, redistribution for profit is prohibited unless you've talked to me about it.

Using my images for banners, business cards, print trades, and charity are fine.

Additional photos or edits can be purchased after the photoshoot. These additional photos do not include print license. Photos will be returned within 6 weeks after the convention ends. Photos will be sent through a gallery download link.

MODEL RELEASE

For valuable consideration received, I grant to FXDandy (“Photographer”) the absolute and irrevocable right and unrestricted permission concerning any photographs and video that he has taken or may take of me or in which I may be included with others, to use, reuse, publish, and republish the photographs and video in whole or in part, individually or in connection with other material, in any and all media now or hereafter known, including the internet, and for any purpose whatsoever, specifically including illustration, promotion, art, editorial, advertising, and trade, without restriction as to alteration; and to use my name in connection with any use if he so chooses.

I release and discharge the Photographer from any and all claims and demands that may arise out of or in connection with the use of the photographs and video, including without limitation any and all claims for libel or violation of any right of publicity or privacy.

This authorization and release shall also inure to the benefit of the heirs, legal representatives, licensees, and assigns of Photographer, as well as the person(s) for whom she took the photographs and video.

WEATHER & CANCELLATION

This event is WEATHER CONTINGENT. If the weather at this event is bad (rain, high winds, extreme temperatures) and we are not able to shoot outside, we will reschedule your shoot to another convention or location date that we are both attending.

If there is an indoor space available, we may be able to shoot indoors at my discretion. Should I deem the indoor area unfit for a photoshoot due to lighting, space, volume of people or other reason, we will reschedule your photoshoot to another event.

Photoshoot fees are NON-REFUNDABLE for weather-based cancellations.

Your session fee is forfeit and NON-REFUNDABLE for cancellations or no-shows. All money paid toward a cancelled shoot (especially within a week of the scheduled shoot) may not be used for any other shoot unless I state otherwise, due to extenuating circumstances etc.

There are, of course, extenuating circumstances surrounding events of this kind, and if I deem that the cancellation is due to something unavoidable, I may allow you to use your photoshoot fee toward another event.

Rescheduling your photoshoot is your responsibility; you must contact me at the time of release of photoshoot event booking dates in order to book your rescheduled shoot.
